The route is 10.8 km long and can be classified as easy to moderate. With breaks, one should plan for 4-5 hours. The ascent to Sang initially winds past the Kenner sports ground before passing through a small forest. This section of the "Sang Tour" is followed by a longer stretch over open agricultural tracks. From Sang, the path descends through the Longuicher forest towards Kirsch. Before the motorway underpass, the return route takes the vineyard paths of Angelberg and shortly before a newly built, huge photovoltaic system, you turn sharp right following an agricultural road to return to the wine village of Kenn. The Sang Tour is signposted with "R 10".

Cellar of a Roman villa:
Life was stylish in the 2nd century in Kenn. Numerous finds of a luxurious Roman villa testify to this – among them columns, marble claddings, mosaic remains, frescoes, or corridors, vaults, and walls. Today, only a long, three-part Roman cellar next to the local history museum can be seen. The underground room is sometimes used for wine tastings. Open from Easter to November, only on Sundays from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM; the front cellar room is open, the two rear ones can be viewed through a grate.
Original finds can be seen in the adjacent local history museum (opening hours as Roman cellar). Additionally, replicas are exhibited in the cellar.
