Advent and Christmas along the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer

Classic, historic, modern, creative – the numerous Advent, Christmas and festive markets in the towns and villages along the Moselle have something to suit every taste. Which is the most beautiful, and which is the largest Christmas market? It’s hard to say. They all have their own charm.

It’s not just the large Christmas markets in the Mosel holiday region that are worth a visit. The small, cosy Advent and Christmas events, in particular, have their own special charm. We’ll show you the wide range of Christmas markets on offer, and you can choose your favourite(s) yourself!

The first Christmas and Advent markets along the Mosel begin around 20 November. Most end shortly before Christmas, but not all of them: the last one doesn’t close its stalls until early January.
