The circular route connects the beautiful Moselle viewpoints Zummethöhe & Vogelsang with some Trittenheim sights, such as the ferry towers of the Trittenheim bridge. The very good gastronomy offer in the village center of Trittenheim as well as the possibility of stopping over at the Zummethöhe complete the route.
Uniquely beautiful views into the Moselle and Dhron valleys and a very varied diversity of the Moselle cultural landscape await the hiker.

The very varied circular hiking route leads the hiker from the village of Trittenheim across the Moselle bridge, past the medieval ferry towers over the "old Carral", into the well-known vineyard area of the "Trittenheimer Apotheke" and to the viewpoint "auf Scheckel". After a short climb through a small wooded area, you reach the Kronberg and the Trittenheim barbecue hut, which invites you to take a short break.
On the Moselle ridge, the landscape is characterized by cattle pastures, orchards, and forest of the adjacent Hunsrück. The path continues over the height into the side valley of the small Dhron with wonderful views of the "Dhrönchen", where the writer Stefan Andres was born.
Upon reaching the Zummethöhe, the hiker is once again presented with the Moselle valley in all its beauty, the panoramic view over the Moselle loop of Trittenheim, which was voted the "Most Beautiful Wine View in Germany" in 2016. The descent from the Zummethöhe via the old Carral leads the hiker back to Trittenheim.

The Zummethöhe viewpoint with enchanting views of the Moselle loop near Trittenheim and Leiwen was voted the most beautiful wine view of the Moselle in 2016. At the most beautiful spot of the viewpoint, a stele was erected where you can take wonderful photos.
Via a short detour of approx. 100 m, you reach the viewpoint including the stele and a resting area.
