The cultural route Brey, Spay and Jakobsberg connects the two Rhine towns Spay and Brey with the elevated Jakobsberghof and impressively leads through the history of the Middle Rhine World Heritage Site. It passes the Roman aqueduct Brey as well as Iron Age burial mounds. The route offers many project boards, thematic boards and object boards as well as a leaflet to provide insight into the historical background. Different landscape types, as well as the animal and plant life and attractive views, are also part of the cultural route.

By car via the B9
From the starting point, you walk along the Alte Straße and then turn left into Zehnthofstraße. Then continue to the Rhine bank, where you cover a long stretch to Rheinstraße. Follow this to Ritter Schwalbach Weg/Eberbacher Weg. Follow this path and turn onto the path up to Jakobsberg to Jakobsberghof street. Then turn left into Rheingoldstraße and follow it to Rheinburgenweg, into which you turn right. Follow this now and after a few meters turn onto the path towards the Roman aqueduct. Follow this path to Rheingoldstraße and then return to the starting point.
