For the Domgarten Wine Trail, the car park at Winningen train station is recommended. Motorhomes can also be parked there. The winery is about 400 meters away. If you want to save yourself the walk through the village, you can park your vehicle at the "Rosenberg" car park (few spaces!), directly at the Domgarten Wine Trail. An e-charging station will also be available here in the future.
Family fun - the Domgarten Wine Trail makes it possible. The circular route connects the town center with the surrounding diversity of the Moselle landscape. You need about 120 minutes for the 4.5-kilometer route with a moderate difficulty level – unless you take breaks at the rest areas and interaction stations. Numerous information boards introduce you to the history and culture of Winningen as well as a lot of interesting facts about wine. If you keep your eyes open, you will discover many other things along the way. Fun for your whole family. A detour to the Moseltal bridge is possible.
For your own safety and the protection of flora and fauna, please always stay on the marked paths. The hiking trail has some steep, difficult, and slippery sections during rain or winter weather. Therefore, sure-footedness and good fitness are essential requirements.

Should you unexpectedly encounter a trail closure or detour, please heed the instructions for your own safety.
Dangers:
In case of an emergency, quick help is needed. And even though mobile phones can send GPS signals, classic rescue points are often the fastest. These are located at places easily accessible for emergency vehicles. Remember the points with green signs and a white cross. In an emergency, return there and give the number on the sign when you call for help. This way, rescuers will know where to find you.
For the best hiking experience, we recommend you follow the designated hiking direction (see arrows on the map). Arrow signposts in the colors of the wine trails indicate the direction along the way.
