Here, strolling spa guests, jogging athletes, mothers with prams and curious children meet, who appreciate the flat terrain, the educational information, and the artistic sculptures made of wood. A woodpecker guides the audience along the way.

Approach

The forest adventure trail is signposted in Lieser from the marketplace to the Lieser Plateau. Additionally, it is accessible via Bernkastel-Kues, spa clinics, and the Kueser Plateau. There is a forest parking lot by the street with the entrance sign to the adventure trail.

Directions

The start is at the hiking parking lot on the Kueser Plateau. You reach it by driving on the Panoramastraße in Kues and following it for about 2 kilometers. The parking lot is well signposted. The path leads you directly into the forest. After about 100 meters, turn right and then go straight ahead again. Pass information boards and signs that provide numerous hints. After about 1.2 kilometers, turn right again and continue almost straight for about 150 meters along a large meadow. Then turn left again. Dense forest is to the left, meadows to the right. The hike runs almost in a rectangle. The destination is again the hiking parking lot.
