The ridge route begins and ends at one of the most spectacular views of the Mosel valley, the Zummethöhe: the Mosel winds in a wide bend around the wine village of Trittenheim with its well-known vineyards “Apotheke” and “Altärchen”, a Mosel loop straight out of a picture book! The route also offers repeated views into the “Dhrönchen” (valley of the “small” Dhron), where the writer Stefan Andres was born. It passes horse pastures to the riding stable “Hof Kron” with a place to refresh yourself in the “Reiterstube”. No steep ascents need to be overcome on this circular route (cd).
