The 13 km long circular hike Bruch 2 leaves the former potter's village steadily ascending along the street "Auf Katz" past the lovingly designed village square and the former jug kiln. Over the Eifel heights, it goes through forest and open meadows with a magnificent view past the Sonnenhof. Through shady mixed forest, Bruch 2 continues over soft forest paths before the route winds up the mountain in switchbacks past the former ore pit. The newly created rest area with a reclining bench at the legendary Werthelstein invites you to linger and picnic. The impressive quartzite rock block stands on the boundary line between Bergweiler and Dreis, which is reached shortly thereafter. Through the vineyard "Dreiser Schloßberg", Bruch 2 leads with a view of the imposing castle, which served the Echternach abbots as a summer residence from 1774, soon continuing over the "Dreiser Pfädchen" along the Salm back to Bruch. Here, Bruch Castle with its beer garden invites you to stop for refreshments.
During the circular hike along Bruch 2, continuously marked as Br2, history, promising legends, and the unique nature of the Eifel merge in a special way.

On rainy days, the paths in the forest can be very slippery.
Hiking boots with good tread and poles for support are expressly recommended.
Bruch Castle features both a very nicely designed beer garden and a restaurant in the former tithe barn with very good regional cuisine.
