At the idyllic Ölmühle located in the Konzer Bach valley, the corresponding Ölmühlen hiking route begins. The mill, built in 1849 from slate quarry stone, is one of the few mills still preserved in the region. Until 1967, mainly rapeseed or nuts were ground here. At the Ölmühle there is also a pond facility and seating areas that invite you to linger and relax.
The hiking trail leads through the idyllic stream valley, further through sunny vineyards and orchard meadows to the forest edge, with magnificent views into the Konzer valley.
By train to Konz Stadt: Saarbrücken - Trier line to Konz main station or Wittlich - Trier - Perl line to Konz Mitte station.
To the district Niedermennig, you walk about 5 km slightly uphill (Schillerstr. - REWE - An der Lichtsmühle - Lindenstr. - sports field - along the Konzer Bach - Winzerhof Hoffmann - right behind it - next street left to L138 - crossing L138 - parking lot Ölmühle).
Alternatively, you can also take bus line 292 to Niedermennig, Kapellenstraße.

Parking lot Ölmühle - mill pond - along the inflow of the Niedermennig stream - pipe culvert to the right - forest path to the left - paved vineyard path - uphill to the orchard meadows - hill to the left - straight ahead to the paved road - to the right, uphill - before K136 to the right towards Niedermennig - downhill, past the retention ponds - at parking lot L138 to the right - after 500 m left back to parking lot Ölmühle
Please note that this hiking path is not a certified premium hiking trail and does not have continuous signage of the route. Furthermore, the path partly runs on paved farm roads and not on narrow trails.
