The route leads from the start to the forester's lodge "Kühlkopf" and to the pedestrian bridge over the B327, which is crossed. Then, about 100 meters after the bridge, turn right onto the "Layer Bergweg" (paved), direction Lay/Mosel. After about 1 km on the Layer field, leave the road that bends right there and continue straight on a forest path, which leads back to Remstecken in a 3 km loop. From the inn "Remstecken" along the paved road past a fish pond towards Kondertal, then shortly after the fish pond turn left onto a forest path to the "Hütte im Flürchen". Now continue to the "Waldescher Hütte", for which you travel about 1 km downhill. Then follow the Moselhöhenweg (signposted M) to Lindenplatz. Then through the district "König von Rom" past the eponymous hotel. Now turn into Hübingerweg onto the main road 'Koblenzerstraße' back to the starting point.

- Despite all idyll, watch out for traffic at some places.
- Always move at a controlled speed in order to be able to evade possible obstacles in good time.
- In case of an accident, call 112 and share your location.

- Enough to drink and possibly some food
- Depending on the weather, sun or rain protection as well as mosquito/tick protection
- A navigation device/phone for route overview. (The cycling route is not specially signposted. Use GPS navigation and follow the cycle path signs with green lettering on a white background.)
