The Skywalk is one of the new attractions in the town of Bernkastel-Kues. It is located in the vineyards of Kues, high above the town. The new hiking trail uses the Skywalk as its starting point. The tour starts in the middle of the spa park, which has also been lovingly renovated with new greenery and plantings, paved paths, and numerous attractions.
The loop trail begins, runs through, and ends at the newly redesigned spa park on the Kueser Plateau in Bernkastel-Kues. It is one of three new trails on the plateau.
The hiking trail is well-marked. It can be accessed via Bernkastel-Kues, the health resorts, and the Kueser Plateau.

Parking spaces at the Kurgastzentrum and at the Kueser Plateau hiker parking lot, 54470 Bernkastel-Kues
We start at the Kurpark on the Kueser Plateau and follow the “Skywalkweg” hiking sign from Ferienland. We hike along well-maintained trails, past the Nebelbank and with the moor in sight, until we reach the large parking lot of the former Hotel Moselpark. At the opposite end, the path first winds like a serpentine and then runs straight ahead along a well-maintained, stroller- and wheelchair-accessible trail through the forest until we reach the Skywalk. With the Skywalk in sight, the Rosenberghütte is our next destination. We walk past the Rosenberghütte, then turn right and hike along paved paths through the vineyards until the trail turns right again onto the Kueser Plateau. Passing newly created lookout points, we then return to the starting point on the Kueser Plateau.

"Regular" clothing is perfectly sufficient.
Be sure to set aside some time for photos—the view from the Skywalk is impressive.
