Connects the medieval town of Beilstein ("Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle") and the local community of Briedern via a narrow wooded ridge path and provides information about construction and cultural history as well as shipbuilding in Briedern.
A uniform and guiding signage, thematic and object panels are intended to convey to the hiker the wild nature found here, rock cliffs, flora and fauna, as well as wonderful views and insights into the Moselle wine cultural landscape.
Train:
On the Trier-Koblenz route, get off at Cochem station and continue by bus to Beilstein/Briedern (line 716)
Bus:
Special caution is required after and during rain or snowfall and icy conditions. Walk carefully, wear good footwear, and avoid overestimating your abilities and risky excursions.
Be sure to bring enough provisions (especially mineral water). However, pay attention to the weight of your backpack. Take breaks, carry a mobile phone (for emergencies), and avoid hiking during thunderstorm risk.
