This short loop trail connects the villages of Moselkern and Müden. With a duration of about 1.5 hours and an elevation gain of just 102 meters, the trail is perfect for leisurely walks. It winds through picturesque countryside, offering frequent views of the Moselle Valley and the surrounding vineyards.
The route is fully signposted and can be started from either village.
Both villages are connected to public transportation via the Moseltalbahn (RB81), which means the tour can also be shortened.
The Übereltzer Loop Trail leads from Moselkern through picturesque vineyards to the neighboring village of Müden. From there, the trail runs below the vineyards back to the starting point.

The route begins at the parking lot of the small café in Moselkern. The first section runs briefly through the village of Moselkern before climbing gently up into the vineyards. The Skathütte offers the first opportunity to take a break. The trail then winds leisurely through the vineyards between the villages of Moselkern and Müden, offering frequent views of the Moselle Valley. The path descends steadily all the way. After passing through the village of Müden, the route runs on flat ground below the vineyards back to the starting point.

- Stay on the marked hiking trails. This helps preserve the flora and fauna and protects you from falls and getting lost.
