Starting from the parking lot at the former railway line, now the well-known Maare-Mosel-Radweg, the circular hike is continuously marked with its own logo. Between Niederscheidweiler and Hasborn the hike has an almost alpine character with partly steep uphill and downhill sections, leading over wonderful forest paths with stones and roots. Hiking poles are highly recommended here. The landscape around Ober- and Niederscheidweiler is shaped by Devonian bedrock. The plateau is mostly used for agriculture and the steeply falling slopes are covered by wild forests. The two neighboring stream valleys, the Alf valley and the Sammetbach valley, are real insider tips - their babbling is a constant companion.

The 14 km long circular hike along the 2-Bäche-Pfad is a real surprise route and offers pure enjoyment of nature!

Train to Wittlich Hbf and then continue with bus line 351.
In the area of the school and sports facility, Am Bahnhof, 54533 Hasborn (at the start and finish point).

- Stay on the marked hiking trails.
- Keep away from steep edges and rock faces (risk of falling).
- Pay attention to your children if applicable.
- Small steps and a steady pace save energy uphill and relieve the joints downhill.
- Bring something to drink with you; drinking is important even when not thirsty.
- And: please keep nature clean.
- Backpack provisions and sturdy footwear are recommended.
- Hiking poles can be helpful for the trails.
