The just under 2 km walk around the charming Eifel village of Heidweiler is perfect for an outing with the whole family. The church, the old washhouse, and the tanner's house are recommended highlights along the route. The Bendersbach, in particular, makes the route interesting and varied for children. Starting from the parking lot at the noteworthy St. Vincentius Church in Heidweiler, the route passes the old beet washing place "Rummelwäsch" on Kirchstraße. It continues to Mühlenstraße (L49), which should be crossed carefully. Along the Bendersbach stream, the route heads to the old washhouse and the tanner's house from 1785. In the small chapel, there is time for a quiet prayer, and the benches at the rest area invite you to take a short break. The route continues via the paved service road into the village. Lovingly restored Trier transverse houses and well-kept front gardens accompany the further route back to the church.

Ideal route for the whole family! The walk can be easily managed with an all-terrain stroller. Only the short section from Mühlenstraße past the washhouse to the paved service road is unpaved, gravelled.
