By train (Easter to October): take the Mosel-Wein-Bahn to the Kövenig stop, then take the ferry to Enkirch. About 150m from the ferry to the starting point.

The Karl Weysser circular route leads in two loops through the historic town center of Enkirch along the locations from which he painted or sketched the numerous half-timbered houses and motifs.
From the tourist info, the path first goes uphill through Weingasse, along numerous half-timbered buildings, past the local history museum to the Protestant church. From there it continues over cobblestones through the street "Am Wallgraben" to the junction Königsstraße/ Zum Herrenberg. There we turn right into "Zum Herrenberg" street, where after about 100 meters we turn right again into Königsstraße. In Königsstraße we follow the street to the left to the "Spilles-Treppe". Here a look into the "Drilles", a historic place of punishment, is worthwhile. Then we follow the stairs uphill to the weekly market and further along "Am Wochenmarkt" street past the Protestant church and through Kirchstraße to Oberdorf. After a detour into Thonesstraße, it goes left through Sponheimerstraße to the junction of Priesterstraße. We follow this downhill through Priesterstraße and Weingasse back to the tourist info.
