Whether you need a GP, a specialist or a dentist – in the towns and wine-growing villages along the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer, you’ll find a well-developed network of doctors and medical facilities.
In an emergency, rapid assistance is guaranteed: hospitals and out-of-hours medical centres in the region provide comprehensive care for acute illnesses or injuries. The out-of-hours medical service can be reached on the nationwide number 116 117 and is available even outside regular consultation hours.
For life-threatening situations, the emergency number 112 remains in use; this immediately alerts the ambulance service and an emergency doctor.
