Listen up! Listen to fascinating stories whilst on your cycle tour and make exciting discoveries amongst the vineyards and wine-growing villages. Use our GPS-guided audio points to find out where the Romans once trod the Mosel grapes, discover the secrets behind the mysterious white ring at Bischofsstein Castle and the world’s largest pharmacy, or encounter the great crested grebe, the Tatzelwurm and the wine witch.
A total of 40 listening points along the Mosel Cycle Path and 16 along the Saar Cycle Path invite you to hop off your bike every now and then whilst out and about, and immerse yourself in fascinating stories, regional specialities and surprising background facts.
The Lauschtour app is available free of charge and can be used in German, English and Dutch.
To do this, simply download the Lauschtour app before your cycling trip, selecting the tours ‘Listening Points on the Mosel Cycle Path’ or ‘Listening Spots on the Saar Cycle Path’ – and whilst you’re out and about – even without an internet connection – you can follow the stories at the individual listening spots that the app shows you!
