Swimming directly in the Moselle or in other stretches of river in the region can be dangerous due to currents, varying water depths, boat traffic and underwater features that are difficult to assess. Even in areas along the banks that appear calm, risks are often not apparent at first glance. For a safe and relaxing day at the water’s edge, head to one of the region’s many swimming pools.
