Here's how it works ...
1. Download the audio route app (free in the App Store or in Google Play)
2. Select and start the route
3. Off you go! The starting point is at the tourist information center (in front of the entrance to the tourist information center near the pedestrian crossing)
The app triggers the individual audios automatically by GPS when you have arrived at the right place. By starting the route without using GPS, you can also take the route manually. However, GPS route is recommended.

With GPS activated, the audios at the listening points start automatically. The route can be interrupted and restarted at any time. - Stored offline:
All contents are saved on your smartphone at the start of the route, so no internet connection is needed on the way.
Tip: Download the route at home on WLAN in advance. - Perfect listening pleasure:
With headphones or smartphone speaker: headphones are especially recommended in cities because of ambient noise.

Along the most important sights, there is a new attraction for visitors and guests: The “Audio Route Traben-Trarbach,” an audio guide that invites you to a discovery route through Traben-Trarbach.
At a total of 16 stations, the history of the twin city comes to life. The new audio route leads along a route of about 2 km past historic places and buildings and provides exciting information and background knowledge. The start of the approximately 60-minute audio route is at the tourist information center in the Traben district and ends at the Old City Tower in the Trarbach district.
Discover Traben-Trarbach flexibly and individually – all without time pressure or a city guide. We promise it will be interesting, surprising, and above all exciting.
After Bordeaux, around 1900 Traben-Trarbach was the second largest wine trading place in Europe!
The audio route shows the traces of this boom and leads from the tourist information past magnificent Art Nouveau villas to the medieval city tower, where there is a great view at the end.
The offer is also specifically aimed at people with physical disabilities. The route is largely suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. For hearing-impaired and deaf people, image and text sequences are stored in the app at the respective listening points.
