Trier can be reached via the A48 and A1, and at the end point Koblenz there are connections to the motorways A48 and A61.

The trip can (with restrictions) also be made entirely by public transport; regional trains and (leisure) bus lines run along the Moselle. Traveling by bike is also good here; using the Moselle cycle path is recommended: www.moselradweg.de
